Join us for a hands on experience in the Riley-Levin Demonstration Garden where the NYRP Urban Agriculture team will lead an engaging tour that touches mushroom cultivation -- our specialty -- and a whole lot more. On the way, the team will be sure to talk about the unique way that this garden operates. The session will finish with a hands on activity, where participants will get to make their own take-home mushroom cultivation kits.

The Riley-Levin Demonstration Garden is a teaching and experimentation garden in Upper Manhattan managed by NYRP's Urban Agriculture team. The space has a long and interesting history, but for the last 5 years, since the early days of the pandemic, it's been used primarily as a space to experiment and demonstrate best practices for NYC's urban agriculture community.
