Looking for a job, apprenticeship, or career inspiration? Come along to Rotherham’s annual Jobs and Careers Fair – now in its 13th successful year!This interactive career event provides a fantastic opportunity to:
- Connect with local employers, education providers, and training organisations
- Explore live job vacancies, apprenticeships, and volunteering roles
- Get practical advice on career pathways and how to get into work
Open to everyone – students, jobseekers, career changers and anyone wanting to explore new opportunities.
Admission is free, and while you are welcome to book through Eventbrite, no booking is required. Just drop in anytime between 9am and 2pm on the day.

Are you a local employer? If you’re looking to recruit or raise awareness of career pathways into your industry, we invite you to exhibit at LEAF. It’s free to book a stand - simply complete a booking form to secure your place. There is a small charge of £250 for training providers & recruitment agencies to exhibit and there are also opportunities for you to support the event through sponsorship or patronage. LEAF25 School Visits
LEAF provides a fantastic opportunity for secondary school, college, and SEND students to engage with employers and learn about the types of jobs available in their businesses. Students can ask questions about career pathways, current and upcoming vacancies, as well as apprenticeships, internships, and work experience opportunities.
Students from Rotherham schools can also take part in bookable Dragons Den workshops, and a Treasure Trail Quiz, both designed to encourage interaction with employers.

LEAF 2025 Partners
LEAF partner the Mears Group will be exhibiting at LEAF25 to promote their apprenticeships for local people in their repairs and maintenance contractor for RMBC.
The Department of Works and Pensions, a partner in LEAF, will be attending LEAF25 to raise awareness of careers in the Civil Service.
LEAF 2025 Patrons
RNN Group provide courses and apprenticeships for school leavers and adults, including higher education at the University Centre Rotherham (UCR). They specialise in career focused courses, providing students with hands on experience to develop the crucial skills needed for employment. RNN want to discuss retraining with adults/jobseekers and speak to students regarding the opportunities available at Rotherham and Dearne Valley Colleges.
LEAF 2025 Sponsors
The Learning Curve Group, are a National Training Provider supporting learners aged 16+ into education and employment. They offer Study Programmes, Apprenticeships and Adult Learning Programmes and will be raising awareness across South Yorkshire of what they do.
Northern College is a unique adult residential college located at Wentworth Castle in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. It is the only residential college for adults aged 19 and over in the North of England. Their primary mission is to support adults, particularly those without formal qualifications, who are looking to re-enter education, gain employment, or change careers. The college offers immersive residential learning experiences, allowing students to stay on campus while they study. This setup is especially beneficial for learners who need a focused and supportive environment.
