Leaf craft workshop – celebrate freedom with Bracknell’s trees!

By Libraries - Bracknell Forest Council

Overview

Join Bracknell Library for a fun, creative workshop exploring the meaning of freedom — with a little leafy inspiration!

Friday 7 November 2pm to 3pm at Bracknell Library

Free

Join us at Bracknell Library for a free, special event celebrating freedom inspired by trees!

Bracknell Forest is full of trees - and just like trees, freedom means having space to grow, feel strong and reach for the sky!

Particpants will be invited by our friendly tutor-artist to decorate leaves with words or drawings inspired by thoughts on freedom. The leaves will come together to create our very own Reading Freedom Trees, which will be displayed in libraries across Bracknell Forest for everyone to enjoy!

Come and grow something meaningful!

As part of Bracknell Forest Libraries’ Our Freedom: Then and Now project, this special event is one of many happening across the country to mark the end of the Second World War through artistic projects and community events.
