This webinar series is designed to equip HR leaders with practical, research-backed strategies to navigate the complexities of leadership, workplace relationships, and employee well-being. Through engaging and actionable sessions, participants will learn to set and maintain boundaries, lead with empathy without overextending, provide effective feedback, and manage difficult conversations with confidence. The series will also introduce Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the Serial Fixer mindset, along with the Support, Don’t Solve framework, to help HR professionals better understand their own leadership dynamics and empower employees without taking on unnecessary burdens. Each session is tailored to provide sustainable tools that enhance resilience, prevent burnout, and strengthen workplace culture.

Week 1: Leading with Empathy Without Overextending - September 4, 2025

  • Emotional labor in HR: Managing the weight of others’ challenges.
  • Self-awareness strategies to prevent burnout and maintain resilience.
  • How Internal Family Systems (IFS) concepts like the InnerCritic, InnerPleaser, and InnerRescuer shape leadership and decision-making.

Week 2: HR as the Backbone of Leadership – Balancing Support & Boundaries - September 11, 2025

  • Understanding HR’s role in shaping leadership culture without absorbing everyone’s stress.
  • The Support, Don’t Solve approach: How to guide without taking over.
  • Recognizing when the Serial Fixer mindset leads to burnout and shifting to a sustainable leadership style.

Week 3: Navigating Difficult Conversations & Giving Critical Feedback - September 18, 2025

  • How to approach performance issues, conflict, and sensitive topics with confidence.
  • The art of feedback: Balancing honesty with support to drive real change.
  • Managing emotional reactions and resistance when giving or receiving feedback.

Week 4: Influence vs. Control – Managing Change & Uncertainty in the Workplace - September 25, 2025

  • Recognizing what’s within your influence vs. what you need to release.
  • Helping employees navigate change without absorbing their stress.
  • HR’s role in fostering workplace resilience rather than controlling outcomes.

About our speaker, Leah Marone, LCSW

Bio: Leah Marone is a seasoned psychotherapist, corporate mental wellness consultant, and Yale clinical instructor based in Charlotte, NC, with over 20 years of experience. She has facilitated more than 20,000 therapy sessions and contributed to esteemed publications, including Psychology Today, The Atlantic, and Newsweek. Leah is also the author of the upcoming book Serial Fixer: Break Free from the Habit of Solving Other People’s Problems, set for release in November 2025.

A former Division 1 basketball player who overcame significant anxiety, Leah specializes in supporting high-achieving individuals, including type A personalities and professionals navigating imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and performance anxiety.

As a consultant and board member, Leah collaborates with companies, nonprofits, and educators to address anxiety and stress management, burnout prevention, boundary setting, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. She tailors her holistic approach to align with each organization’s culture, fostering healthier teams and workplaces.

When she’s not helping others find balance and resilience, Leah enjoys hiking, being a soccer mom, exercising, and exploring new travel destinations.

Do I have to attend all 4 courses, or can I come to a single course?

You are able to attend a single course! We have ticket options for both.

If I am unable to attend one of the weeks, will the recording be sent to me?

Yes! If you ask for the recording to be sent to you, we will send it to you for a designated time period for you to watch on your own timing.

Am I able to get a refund if needed?
