Learn how to build the capabilities your organization needs to deliver meaningful outcomes—by shifting behaviors, not repeating what’s always been done.

Course Description

Leadership is the single greatest lever—and the most common barrier—to building a resilient, responsive organization that consistently delivers meaningful value.

This course is for leaders who want to build the business capabilities their organization needs to deliver—faster, smarter, and with more resilience. You’ll learn how to pinpoint where behavior is breaking down, identify what’s constraining progress, and make intentional system-level adjustments that close the gap between ambition and execution.

You’ll work through five clear steps: define the business outcome, select the capability that matters most, find the constraint, pull a change lever, and test the shift. Then loop again.

Grounded in the Business Agility Institute’s behavioral model—5 Domains, 18 Capabilities—this course shows you how to lead not just people, but how work actually gets done.

This is the foundational course for any leader who wants to shape freedom, flexibility, and resilience to unlock potential and progress across the business.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Explore how to lead a human-centered, adaptable organization by identifying and building the capabilities to achieve meaningful business outcomes.
  • Recognize behavioral gaps that limit organizational effectiveness—and connect them to specific business agility capabilities.
  • Diagnose constraints in the system (structures, policies, tensions, habits) that block behavior change.
  • Apply targeted levers of change to adjust the environment and shift behavior intentionally.
  • Design and test a safe-to-try experiment to validate behavior change and begin building real capability.

  • Senior leader or executive responsible for aligning how the business works with the outcomes it must achieve.
  • Functional or operational leader looking to build real capability by shifting how decisions are made, work flows, and people behave.
