Change is inevitable in the workplace, but it doesn't have to be disruptive. With the right skills, leaders and managers can successfully guide their teams through change. Looking at change from a variety of angles, this course provides the tools and knowledge you need to lead and manage change. You'll learn to assess your personal change readiness as well as the responses your team may have to difficult situations, develop a change management plan, and communicate effectively throughout the change process.

Overview

Change is everywhere, and it affects every aspect of our existence. This truism is certainly at play in the workplace; however, acceptance of this workplace reality is not always automatic. On one side of the spectrum, some people fight, ignore or fear change. Others easily welcome, facilitate and adapt to change. During this course, participants will explore strategies for adopting change from a variety of perspectives while developing skills in leading and managing change.

Assess and analyze their personal behavior during change processes
Review organizational responses to change
Learn steps to prepare others for change
Complete and analyze a change readiness assessment
Apply principles of change management to their own experiences
