LEAD ABATEMENT WORKER TRAINING

This Lead Abatement Worker training course is a 24-hour, 3 day - 8 hr per day training course as required by the Ohio Department of Health to apply for a Lead Abatement Worker license. an satisfies the requirements for the Lead Abatement Worker course.

This training course uses both the EPA model Lead Abatement Contractor curriculum, HUD Guidelines, and includes OSHA and EPA compliance requirements. The class focuses on identification of safe work practices and job specifications for controlling hazards of lead paint, dust, and soil. Table top exercises are used to teach how to choose abatement methods that are most cost-effective. Trainees participate in hands-on demonstrations of abatement techniques, personal protective equipment, and environmental testing methods.

Upon successful completion student recives proof of course completion, which can be used to apply for state licence as a Lead Abatement Worker with the Ohio Department of Health.
