Join us for an afternoon of CAKES, CONVIVIALITY and CAMARADERIE at Le Pique-Nique Du Cake!
What IS Le Pique-Nique Du Cake? It's simple - it's a CAKE PICNIC! Whaaaaat?
Make a cake. Maybe you're an expert pastry chef, maybe you're a first-timer - just do your best. Your cake is part of your ticket in.
Bring it, bring your own cake server and bring you're appetite (we'll provide the plates and forks, don't worry). We'll start with a Happy Hour Show & Tell where we'll "ooh and aah" over everyone's masterpieces.
Then - we feast! You'll be given a takeaway box. However many slices you've cut your own cake into, you may choose the same amount of slices from others' cakes (So let's say you cut your cake into eight pieces, you get to pick up eight pieces of cake from other people's confections).
After the swap, we'll enjoy a beautiful afternoon at the gorgeous Saint Margarets House, a historic New Hartford Mansion. Instagrammable picnic spots provided by @Picnique315, the Boutique: A House Shoppe (@TheHouseShoppeCNY).
We'll have a beautiful flavored water bar, with all the amazing accoutrements provided by myYenta (@my_yenta), gourmet glizzies (aka hot dogs) to purchase from SheFancy Catering (@shefancycatering) and so much more.
It's going to be an incredible afternoon - and the best part? All of the proceeds will go to maintaining the Mohawk Valley's rich architectural heritage as a donation to the Landmarks Society of Greater Utica.
Placards will be available for Nut-Free, Dairy-Free, and Gluten-Free Offerings - so don't shy away from getting creative.
