Frequently asked questions
Yes, our ARTbar is focused on convenience & simplicity. Come by yourself or w/ a friend(s). We want to provide a calm place for you to create and connect with yourself or others. Everyone get's to make their own project (chosen from a menu of crafts) and work at their own pace.
13 years and above is the age limit, however, any level (beginner or experienced) is welcome.
We are happy to accommodate you but our space is limited to first come, first serve. Calling us and reserving a time slot for larger groups is recommended.
Most projects take 1 to 2 hours. The limit is the store hours. If your project needs another day, we are happy to have you back to finish. We want you to go home with something you made.
Walk-ins are welcome but subject to first come, first serve. You can easily reserve a time slot here on Event Write. We'll do our best to accommodate.
Let's work together to make it happen. We'll learn and make together. If we don't have the supplies on hand, we'll plan a date/time to do the project. We do reserve the right to say no to a project, likely because of lack of experience, supplies, space, and time (like reupholstering furniture).
Creating is therapeutic and can break up the monotony of the day helping us refocus and energize. We are simply giving space and supplies for a creative time-out, so to speak. Nothing fancy, just spending some time to learn and make something in your day, solo or with someone.
We get it. Things happen. No problem. The mini workshops are based off a menu of projects from which you choose upon arrival. If you don't show up and someone walks in, we'll fill your space. The reservations are simply if you want to be sure there is a space waiting for you.
