About this event

Two-Day Workshop | Explore Identity Through Symbol & Color

Uncover the deeper layers of your identity in this expressive two-day acrylic painting workshop. Guided by the theme of meshing realism with symbolism, you’ll create a self-portrait that goes beyond physical likeness to tell a personal story through color, imagery, and metaphor.

May 15 - Day 1: focuses on introspection, symbolism, and sketching your composition. Through guided journaling and creative planning exercises, you’ll discover meaningful symbols and learn how to visually weave them into your portrait.

May 22- Day 2: is dedicated to painting — using acrylics to bring your unique vision to life with texture, emotion, and vibrant color.

This workshop offers a supportive space to reflect, express, and create a portrait that’s truly one of a kind.

No portrait experience required – just curiosity and a willingness to explore!
