The Lavinrac Renretsew comes from the mind of one singer/songwriter, Steven Drew Poeling. Steven lives and performs under the moniker Lavinrac Renretsew in Savannah, Georgia. Lavinrac Renretsew creates music that celebrates an older type country Texas swing quilted into a mashed pile of shoegaze and heartbreak.

Lavinrac Renretsew released its first album “Camiseta” in 2022. Steven originally hails from Lubbock, Texas where he first started his musical career. Steven’s music began with a birth from a 1990s West Texas punk rock womb. Over the last three decades Steven continued to explore a lust for folk, lo-fi, strange diy music building.

Steven has released many albums via his own independent record label, Cody Records since 1993.
