LAVENDER STUDIOS PRESENTS: BLOOMSTOCK

Bloomstock is Lavender Studios’ annual artist appreciation party! A one-night, community-powered celebration of creativity in all its forms. Part concert, part open mic, part art collective gathering, Bloomstock brings together the artists who make our community what it is, alongside art lovers, supporters, and curious newcomers.

Taking place January 23rd at 6:00 PM at Englewood Arts, Bloomstock is built around performance, connection, and shared appreciation. The night features performers from Lavender Studios’ Perspectives Artist Talks series, alongside other Lavender-affiliated creatives, resulting in a dynamic, festival-style lineup with a stockpile of Kansas City's best and up and coming artists and performers! Expect music, spoken word, experimental performance, and genre-blurring artistry presented in a concert-like flow; this is not a traditional open mic, but a curated evening where every artist is part of the story.

Beyond the stage, Bloomstock expands into a collective experience. Local artists and makers will be set up as vendors, transforming the space into a creative hub where you can explore visual art, handmade goods, and connect directly with the people behind the work. Whether you’re there to perform, browse, listen, or simply exist in a room full of creative energy, Bloomstock is designed to feel welcoming, celebratory, and alive.

At its heart, Bloomstock is about gratitude and visibility; an opportunity to honor the artists who share their voices, stories, and labor throughout the year, and to invite the wider community into that ecosystem.
