Prerequisite: Some basic previous watercolor experience is preferred but not required. (If you are unsure, contact the instructor.)
Description: This class is good for continuing with your watercolor journey after learning some basic watercolor techniques (See my Beginning Watercolor class). If you have done watercolor before but it has been a while it is also a good refresher class. If you already know how to paint with watercolor but just want to get together with others and paint this class could also be fun and you may learn some new techniques. The idea for this class is to complete a small watercolor landscape from start to finish IN ONE CLASS. Each class will be a different simple landscape of my choosing, so you can sign up for this class multiple times if you choose to. There will be different techniques used in each class. Some possible examples will be a cloudy landscape, a rainy-day landscape (Like the image shown for the class), rolling country hills, a simple beach scene, misty mountains, etc. The skills learned in this class will also easily translate to plein air style painting.
Bring to class: You may bring your own supplies if you wish, but paint, brushes and a paper will be included as part of the class.
