About this event
Dare to eradicate hate.
Hate is a rising global challenge.
The new International Lab for Research and Leadership in Interfaith Collaboration and Coexistence, under the leadership of Teachers College professor Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess, will serve as a center of excellence for research, leadership, and training, amplifying protective factors against all forms of hate based on one's religion, race or ethnicity. To sustain and expand global efforts to lessen hate and counter extremism, the Lab will create spaces and design educational experiences for interfaith dialogue, collaboration, and coexistence.

The evening will feature a special panel, moderated by Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess, with globally recognized Interfaith Visionaries who will engage in a meaningful dialogue on their journey to transformative interfaith collaboration, coexistence, and leadership, all of which are foundational ideas of The International Interfaith Lab.
Important Notes about Attending the Launch of the Interfaith Lab
Please enter TC through the Horace Mann Building entrance on Broadway between 120th and 121st Streets. From there you will be directed to the ticket scanners.
All attendees must have Eventbrite tickets to attend the event.
All visitors to TC are required to be vaccinated. Please have proof of vaccination ready to show the Public Safety team upon arrival.
Masks are not required.
Items below are prohibited and will not be permitted inside Cowin Auditorium:
- Luggage
- Large bags
- Signs, flags, banners
- Balloons
- Boxes, and other large items
- Alcohol, drinks or food (personal water bottles are permitted)
- Weapons (regardless of permit)
- Animals (Exception: service animals)
- Selfie-sticks or other telescopic devices
- Any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate by the TC Public Safety team at their sole discretion
