GRI and Oxfam SAF are hosting an exclusive breakfast launch event for the launch of the GRI Topic Standard for Biodiversity and the GRI Sector Standard for Mining.

Expectations are growing for mining companies to provide meaningful and detailed information about their impacts on the environment and people. Triggered by the energy transition and need for critical minerals, policy makers, investors, and civil society are paying greater attention to ensuring responsible mining practices and accountability. It is more relevant than ever to focus transparency efforts on key impacts of the sector, with consistent disclosure that serves a multitude of stakeholders. This event will explore critical data gaps, enablers, and tools to ensure future reporting underpins better decisions.
