Does the venue sell food?

No, The Vixen does not sell food but we proudly support our neighborhood bars and restaurants. DC Cobb's, Buddyz Pizza, PeaPod, Hub Market and The Gamblur offer take out that you may enjoy at the Vixen during the show.

Is there an age restriction for this show

Yes, all comedy shows, unless stated otherwise, are 21 years or older. ID is checked at the door.

Is there a drink minimum?

No, a drink minimum is not required but we do encourage ordering something from our bartenders - this is a free show so ordering from the bar is a great way to support the staff.

Every Wednesday, a fresh line up of comedians come to share laughs with our friends of McHenry County. No longer do you have to travel out of town to see live stand-up comedy. The Vixen brings the headliners of surrounding cities to YOU, completely FREE.

Every Wednesday* on The Main Stage at 8pm, doors at 7:30pm. Bar opens at 6pm. Seating is general admission but the room fills up fast, reserve your spot here with Eventbrite!
