This Thanksgiving season, let’s fill more than just the dance floor — let’s fill hearts and shelves, too. 💛🧡❤️

Join us at Continuum Art for a night where rhythm meets compassion, as we come together for an unforgettable evening of Bachata, connection, and community giving. We’ll be collecting canned and nonperishable food donations for Interfaith Assistance Ministry, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping Henderson County residents in crisis meet their most basic needs with compassion and respect.

Social dancing with DJ Mapache spinning your favorite Bachata, Salsa, and Latin hits all night long! This will be 60-70% bachata and 25% salsa.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS 🪩

Elizabeth Naas, known as Eli, is a dedicated Bachata Sensual dancer and instructor with over six years of experience. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, she has trained extensively with world-renowned artists such as Daniel & Desiree, Luis & Andrea, Marco y Sara, and Luis & Tay. Her time in New York City—training and teaching under Sensual Movement—deepened her artistry, connection, and understanding of Bachata Sensual.

Now based in Wilmington, Eli continues to evolve in her craft—traveling across the U.S. and internationally to train, teach, and grow within the global Bachata community. Her teaching methodology centers on connection, musicality, and authentic movement, inspiring dancers to express themselves with confidence and emotion.

Kaitlyn Mendez is a passionate Bachata instructor based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her dance journey in Spain in 2021, where she discovered her love for Latin dance and has since trained in a variety of styles.

With over a year of teaching experience, Kaitlyn brings a balance of strong technique and playful energy to every class. Her focus is on helping students build confidence, refine their movement, and bring their unique style to the dance floor.

All food donations will directly support Interfaith Assistance Ministry, whose mission is simple but powerful: Helping Hands and Caring Hearts. Since 1984, IAM has served our community with dignity, compassion, and respect — ensuring that no neighbor faces hardship alone.

No partner or rhythm is needed and dress is casual!

Bring your own beer/wine. Liquor and other beverages above 16% alcohol content are strictly prohibited. ALL BEVERAGES MUST BE BROUGHT INTO THE VENUE IN A COOLER OR CONCEALED AND FOR CONSUMPTION, BEVERAGES MUST BE POURED INTO PLASTIC CUPS. NOTE CHANGE IN POLICY: $10 for every 12 beers or 1 bottle of wine.

Masks are encouraged but, not required.
