Description

Handley Regional Library System's Later in the Library is a FREE after hours event to kick off the 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program - It’s Showtime at Your Library!

Doors open at 6:30PM. Participants are encouraged to come early and stay late to enjoy live music by SV Jazz, magic & mischief with local magician J. Edward Ford, plus a Beer Tasting with Kevin Eckles from The Better Beer Store. The library will also be holding Behind-The-Scenes Library Tours where attendees will learn the ins and outs of our historic Handley Library building.

Registration required for Beer Tastings and Tours - Library Tours are at 7PM and 7:45PM. Beer Tastings are at 7PM, 7:45PM and 8:30PM. Later in the Library will be open to all, but you must be 21 or older to attend a Beer Tasting. When registering, select one Beer Tasting time and plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior.

The reading-themed educational Beer Tastings will be based on “Books to Screen” titles including Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Silence of the Lambs, Stand By Me, and Fight Club.
