Late Night Science: What Moves You?

By Columbia University Neuroscience Outreach (CUNO)

Overview

Immerse yourself in the world of scientific research while learning about how the brain controls the body and tour a research lab!

Are you interested in learning about how the brain learns to move your body? Want to see the cool tools that neuroscientists use? Hungry for free pizza?

Come to Late Night Science on Thursday, December 11th at 7PM, at Columbia’s Zuckerman Institute (3227 Broadway)! This month, Carlos Velázquez from the Daniel Wolpert lab will be hosting an event on how the brain learns to move and control the body. Join us to learn more. Thursday night will consist of a brief talk and Q&A session, followed by a tour of Carlos' lab space. All 18+ are welcome to attend: the only prerequisite is an interest in learning about science!

Late Night Science is organized by Columbia University Neuroscience Outreach which provides monthly evening events to the public from researchers at Columbia University. If you are interested in hearing more from us, please sign up for our email list here, and for more events, please check out the Zuckerman Institute’s website.
