What is this group about?

This virtual support group is a safe, judgment-free space for new and expecting parents to share, learn, and connect. We talk about real-life experiences  from feeding and sleep challenges to emotional wellbeing and partner dynamics — with support and encouragement along the way.

How does the group work?

We meet virtually via Zoom for about 30 and  occasionally if agreed 60 minutes. Each session includes:

A short discussion or topic (like sleep, feeding, postpartum recovery, or self-care)

Space for open sharing and Q&A

Optional guided reflection or relaxation exercise

Yes! This is a free community offering through Latched On Hope & Wellness as part of our mission to support families during pregnancy and the postpartum journey.

Will there be professional guidance or is this peer-led?

Accepted Answer

Group is facilitated by Ms.Jones, a trained birth & Certified Postpartum Doula ,Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Lactation  Counselor. Over 15 years in Public Health. The space combines professional insight with peer-to-peer support, but it is not a substitute for medical advice or therapy.

What do I need to participate?

Just a device with internet access and a quiet space (if possible). You’re welcome to join with your baby, your partner, or solo — cameras on or off, however you’re comfortable.
