Jettison Arts Foundation X Dylanger Gutierrez invite you to come and learn Large Format 101: Portrait Basics and Intro to the Darkroom!

This free workshop is a fun and complete experience for anyone who has ever been curious about large-format or analog photography.  Come ready to photograph, be photographed, and learn the simple steps of camera operation and development.  Selected works by Dylanger and his collaborators will be on display.  Join the workshop or just stop by to see the photos!

No prior camera experience is needed.  Please wear an outfit you want to be photographed in, along with comfortable closed-toe shoes.  Sessions will be conducted in pairs.  Come with a partner or solo; you may make a new friend!  Each participant will get a chance to frame the shot, focus the camera, load the film holder, take the picture, and develop it in the darkroom.  You and your partner will each shoot two black and white photos.  Each of you will pick your favorite of the two photos of you to take home, and sign the other one to contribute to the collection.

Location: Jettison Creative. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn and create stunning images and leave with a truly one-of-a-kind photo of yourself you can hold in your hands.
