Hannah Redden is a superstar textile and interior designer who has a talent for making a beautiful array of home accessories. For this workshop the spotlight is on large statement lamps - there's nothing Hannah loves more than when guests go BIG with their shades. Do you accept the challenge?
Join Hannah for a wonderful evening of crafting and make your very own 30cm or 40cm lampshade at Staple Hill's, Creative Space. (If you're feeling extra bold you can request even bigger!)
Bring along your chosen fabric, and Hannah will supply all the parts you need to create the structure of your custom lampshade. Fabric guidance:
- Firm cotton fabric works best but if you are unsure, please contact your host beforehand for advice.
- To make a 30cm Lampshade you'll need a piece of fabric measuring approx. 120cm x 30cm.
- To make a 40cm Lampshade you'll need a piece of fabric measuring approx. 130cm x 30cm.
- On the day you can discuss print placement and Hannah will help you trim your fabric to size.
- You're welcome to bring along extra fabrics to give you options for print placement.
