Lara Sayegh: A World Beneath The Waves
Overview
Join us on Thursday 27 November 2025 as London Art Exchange presents World Beneath the Waves — the debut solo exhibition by Lara Sayegh, a London-based abstract artist whose work channels the energy, colour, and emotion of the natural world.
A World Beneath the Waves is a new body of work that explores the hidden, often unseen world beneath the sea. Created over the past year, the collection explores what lies beneath the surface — coral reefs, shifting tides, and the living ecosystems that shape our world.
Each piece brings together two distinct sides of my practice — one gestural and expressive, the other grounded in texture with natural materials. Using elements like sand, and marble dust, the works take on a tactical, almost sculptural quality, creating a dialogue between control and spontaneity. The result is a visual language that feels alive, organic, and constantly in motion — much like the sea itself.
Experience an evening of art, emotion, and discovery as we celebrate Lara’s first solo exhibition in London Art Exchange’s new Marylebone gallery space.
