We will make beautiful Willow Lanterns with you are invited to bring to our next event:

All Souls Lantern Walk in Strabane

Come along and be part of our river of light on Saturday November 1st, between 5 -9pm, as we host an ‘All Souls Lantern Walk’ in Strabane. The Churches Trust have partnered with various community groups around Strabane and Killeter, in memory of Cecil Frances Alexander, to celebrate and remember her care for others and her love of the environment.

Our walking tour will visit building of faith and historic signifigance including Church of the Sacred Heart, Presbyterian Church, The Methodist Church, Abercorn Square, Patrick Street Graveyard, Christchurch and Church of the Immaculate Conception.

This is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and Derry City Strabane District Council.

Please bring your own torch or lantern. St. John's Ambulance will accompany our walk on foot.

On November 1st, between 5pm and 9pm, our guided ‘All Souls Lantern Walk’ will wind through the streets of Strabane. Sharing stories, song and poems, at various venues along the way, including Partick Street Graveyard, where children from the ‘School for the Deaf and Mute’ are buried. The walk will end at St. Partick's Hall with seasonal refreshments for everyone.
