Language-Neutral Translation in Education Course (4 weeks)
Overview
Join NAETISL’s distinguished course instructor, Agostina Lufrano, for a comprehensive, language-neutral exploration of document translation in educational settings. This course is designed to help participants enhance their translation skills across languages by focusing on accuracy, clarity, and cultural and pragmatic appropriateness. We will examine essential translator competencies and professional ethics, discuss translation problems, strategies, and tools, and address common challenges faced by translators in education. Participants will also learn to develop custom translation resources, share best practices, and contribute to a growing community of multilingual translators committed to collaboration, terminology support, and the expansion of accessible resources for schools and educational institutions.
The course starts on April 7th and ends on April 28th. Live sessions are from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM EST.
A minimum of five participants is required to offer the session. Sessions are not recorded. A Certificate of Attendance will be provided. No refunds.
