CKA: Positive Interactions & Guidance
Participants will learn strategies to provide responsive and engaging interactions and communication with infants and toddlers. Teachers will explore literacy activities and strategies to increase communication skills with infants and toddlers. We will also share strategies to plan high-quality interactions throughout the day.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of the session, attendees will be able to explain the importance of language and positive interactions in infant/toddler development.
2 . By the end of the session, attendees will understand why listening and speaking are the key to develop communication skills.
3 . By the end of the session, attendees will identify strategies to support high-quality language interactions between teachers and infants/ toddlers.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
