Landscape Architecture Prerequisites:

PREREQ 1: Design Plans for a Landscape Project Go to a completed landscape project that a landscape architect has designed. Before you visit the site, obtain a plan of the design from the landscape architect if one is available.

-How to complete this: We suggest the NJBG, Laurelwood, Freylinghausen or any historic site local to you. Reach out to them for design/plans and they should be able to send them to you.

PREREQ 5: Careers in Landscape Architecture: Identify three career opportunities that would use skills and knowledge in landscape architecture. Pick one and research the training, education, certification requirements, experience, and expenses associated with entering the field. Research the prospects for employment, starting salary, advancement opportunities and career goals associated with this career. Discuss what you learned with your counselor and whether you might be interested in this career.
