Owning land comes with opportunity—and responsibility. Whether you’re a new landowner or have managed property for years, this program will help you make informed, research-based decisions to care for your land and reach your goals.

Hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Fannin County, Land Stewardship 101: Managing Property with Purpose will cover key topics to help you understand, plan, and manage your property effectively—no matter the size or purpose.

Program Topics Include:

  • Evaluating your land: soil health, water, and forage potential
  • Setting goals for your property and developing a management plan
  • Pasture, forage, and weed management strategies
  • Stocking rates, fencing, and livestock considerations
  • Wildlife and habitat management
  • Cost-share and conservation programs available to landowners

This three-hour program will provide practical tools and resources to help you build a solid foundation for your property. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
