Brought together by the Bluegrass jams flurried throughout the Duluth hillside, the Lake Effect String Band is “grounded in the rich traditions of delicious, upbeat picking styles.” Drifting from Flatts, Scruggs, and Doc Watson classics to new grass acts such as Hot Rize, Sam Bush, and David Grisman, Lake Effect piles up tunes for lovers of string music.
