LAFCRD's Community Safety & Fire Prevention Day

Welcome to LAFCRD's Community Safety & Fire Prevention Day!

Join us on the bus loop in front of Veterans Park Academy (49 Homestead Rd S) from 10am-1pm on October 18th to visit with firefighters, law enforcement, county workers, and other community service organizations who will have their vehicles and services on display for children (and adults!) to explore.

The crowd-favorite Extrication Demonstration (firefighters demonstrate how they use extrication tools to remove patients from a crashed vehicle) will take place at 11:30 a.m.!

Learn valuable tips on fire prevention, meet local firefighters, and explore fire safety equipment up close. This is a fantastic opportunity for families and individuals to learn how to protect themselves and their homes. Don't miss out on this important event!
