About this event
We are excited to be kicking-off the series again with our 8th session, featuring Joanna Nathan!
As the Manager of New Ventures at the Johnson & Johnson Center for Device Innovation at Texas Medical Center, Joanna dedicates her time to identifying opportunities to accelerate breakthrough technologies. Prior to JnJ, Joanna was a Venture Fellow at Mercury Fund, as well as Director of Product Development at Saranas.
Joanna's innovative experience doesn't stop there. She founded Enventure - a non-profit led by students and young entrepreneurs passionate about Houston's medical technology industry. Enventure provides entrepreneurship and experiential learning opportunities for over 1,500 young aspiring entrepreneurs.
Joanna Nathan earned her Bachelor’s and Master's in Bioengineering, as well as her MBA at Rice University. While on campus, she served as President for the Jones School of Business Student Association, and remains involved post-graduation on the Executive Committee for the Rice Engineering Alumni Association.
Ladies who LaUNCH is a luncheon series to empower our female entrepreneurs, innovators, or any females that want to create a lasting impact in our society. It is up to us ladies to support and encourage other women in entrepreneurship. If we are going to turn some of these rattling statistics on their head (…like only 2% of venture-backed companies are female-led…) we must do it together.
This Event is in partnership with Rice's Women in Entrepreneurship Club, Rice Ventures, and Design for America.
After registering via Eventbrite, you will receive an email with the Zoom details. We look forward to seeing you there!
