YES. This class is designed for beginners—no experience necessary. We’ll cover everything from gear basics to casting to actually fishing on the Yellowstone. You’re in the right place.

What if I don't have any gear?

No problem! We’ve got you covered with free fly rod rentals. We’ll also go over what gear you actually need (and what you don’t), so you can learn before you buy anything.

Question 3

What should I wear?

Think layers and comfort. Lightweight long sleeves, quick-dry pants or shorts, a hat, and a rain jacket just in case. Polarized sunglasses are a must—they protect your eyes and help you see into the water.

What if I'm nervous or shy?

You’re not alone. We all start somewhere, and this space is built to be welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging. There’s no pressure to be perfect—just come willing to learn and have fun.

What happens if the weather is bad?
