Brief Description: On your way out the front door, you pass by a mirror and only catch a quick glimpse of yourself. As you talk to other people throughout your day, on some level you may wonder, “Do they see me?” These are all human and natural thoughts, but sometimes they can spiral into confusion. How can you walk in confidence and hope amidst the distractions and confusion of how you may see yourself or how you think others may see you? Come along as Lorrie shares how you can find confidence and hope through your very own life moments of resilience, knowing full well your identity, worth, and the woman God sees.

Breakout Session with Hellcat- Join Lorrie "Hellcat" Bamford and dig a little deeper in your spiritual and mental wellness through journaling.
Card Making with Vicki- Join Vicki Simpson from Mountain Gal Crafts for a fun and creative card making class. Learn simple techniques to design beautiful handmade cards for any occasion.
Crochet with the Crawfords- Join the Crawford family, from Crawford Family Farm & Crafts in a crocheting session. Learn how to crochet Amigurumi Mini Animals.
Fashion Class with Highland Lane- Join Stephanie Allen with Highland Lane boutique to lean about all the up-to-date fashion trends.
Evergreen Trees with Missy- Join Missy Richardson in making small evergreen trees for an outdoor winter centerpiece! 🦌🌲❄
Yoga with Alex- Join Alex (Richardson) Rentel in a Yoga-Lite sessionl. Learn how to take care of yourself through relaxation and meditation.

Events

Afternoon Hot Beverage Bar with Dessert- This year we will be hosting a Hot Beverage Bar with Desserts. Please plan to stay the entire day as this will be the icing on the cake.

Shopping- Vendors will be set up in the fellowship hall for your shopping enjoyment. It's a perfect time to pick up those one-of-a-kind gifts for someone special - Like yourself! Please bring cash/check to shop.

Mission

Welcome to Ladies Day at Luminary! We are excited to share our mission with you and showcase the incredible ministries offered at our church. At Luminary, we believe in fostering a supportive community that meets the diverse needs of our members and the wider community.

From providing nursery care and dynamic children and youth programs to supporting families through our food pantry, meal deliveries, and holiday food boxes, our ministries are designed to serve and uplift. We also offer opportunities for connection and growth through Wednesday night dinners, Saturday morning breakfasts, and engaging activities like pickleball, line dancing, and sewing group.

Our senior outreach, Barnabas, and Care Team are dedicated to making sure that no one feels alone, while our Angel Tree program ensures that those in need receive the support they deserve. Additionally, we provide a welcoming space for our AA meetings to foster recovery and healing.

We're thrilled to have our very own Cooper Jones, along with family friend Shawn Queener, broadcasting interview videos of each of our ministries throughout the day. These interviews will offer an in-depth look at the wonderful work being done at Luminary and how you can get involved.
