About this event

Music • Indie

Duluth-based eerie folk group Superior Siren and soulful Minneapolis-based quartet LAAMAR share the stage for this one-time-only double bill at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.

Created by singer-songwriter Laura Sellner, Superior Siren offers an alluring expression of vulnerability & desire, with inspiration from Lake Superior and Siren mythology. The band includes cellist Rachel Gobin, bassist Nyssa Krause, drummer Emma Deaner and violinist Erin Aldridge.

LAAMAR is the latest project led by Minneapolis-based singer, songwriter, saxophonist, and composer Geoffrey Lamar Wilson. The four-piece band blends folk, soul and country into songs that address racial and social justice issues and the shared human experience. The group's debut album is planned for release this fall.

E-tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22 on Eventbrite. Paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth on Sept. 1. Tickets will be available at the door for $25 while supply lasts. Doors at 6 p.m. Music at 7.
