PPEP TALK® COMMUNITY
Understanding severe period pain can be tricky for everyone. PPEP Talk® is here to better equip communities to understand period and pelvic pain. This session provides people with key knowledge to manage their pain, support others and stay involved in important activities. PPEP Talk® addresses the first priority of the National Action Plan for Endometriosis - education and awareness.
The program offers the latest in modern knowledge and the new neuroscience of pain. It plays a critical role in informing and educating people to recognise and identify when symptoms are abnormal, simple ways to improve these symptoms, and how to look for further help, allowing them to fulfil their potential.
The FREE program includes:
- a 1.5 hour positive, fun, educational and interactive program discussing period pain, pelvic pain and endometriosis.
- tailored sessions for people assigned female at birth, people assigned male at birth, parents and caregivers, people with additional needs, and culturally and linguistically diverse people. The program is inclusive of age, culture, and gender and is medically responsible.
PPEP Talk® is for everyone. It helps those who experience pelvic pain better understand their pain and find tools to deal with it. It helps those who support them better understand what they go through and how to best support them.
