What it is:

Kundalini Activation Practice is a spiritual practice that supports your growth and expansion of consciousness and self-realization.

It does this by inviting your own energy, which is the creative, intelligent, and potent, to begin moving throughout your meridians.

This practice begins to clear away what you are not (the old stories, patterns, limiting beliefs, etc), and reminds you of who you really are so that you feel more at home within yourself.

What to Expect:

Throughout the session you may experience moments of stillness and introspection. Sometimes visualizations will happen similar to dreaming or journeying, you may have insights, downloads, and clarity..

There can also be emotional movements from the ones we all love, from bliss and pleasure to the less desirable (but still sacred), anger or sadness.

You might also feel the urge for singing, humming, laughing, yawning, or even letting out a scream.

Some participants describe the energy as waves, or tingling sensations moving through the body.

With any sensation, physical or emotional, you always have the choice to lean into it and surrender, or hold back. You are fully in charge the entire time, and if you wish to stop the practice, you simply sit up, open your eyes, and it will stop.

Participants may also have a more subtle experience on the mat and then notice positive shifts, emotional release, and insights in the days to follow.

Whether you’re based in Los Angeles or joining virtually, each session meets you exactly where you are—gently inviting your system into balance, alignment, and expansion.

Meet Your Facilitators

Jen Lescher - Jen is a longtime spiritual practitioner and a trained facilitator of Kundalini Activation. With a foundation in clairvoyant meditation training from Psychic Horizons in San Francisco, she brings a grounded intuitive presence to her work. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and a practicing psychotherapist, blending somatic wisdom, energetic awareness, and heart- centered guidance. Her passion is creating spaces where transformation, clarity, and spiritual connection can unfold naturally.

Heathir Brown - With over 16 years of experience Heathir Brown offers personalized healing services that blend craniosacral therapy, Reiki, sound healing and offers Kundalini activation classes. Specializing in supporting sensitive souls, empaths and those with chronic conditions, Heathir creates a safe, trauma-informed space for deep transformation, nervous system regulation and soul alignment. She works with individuals navigating stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm or seeking a more spiritually connected life.

Jen and Heathir have both trained under the guidance of Alexandra Michelle of Kundalini Arts to become certified kundalini activation facilitators.

For Optimal Sessions Please Have the Following:

  • A yoga mat
  • Comfortable clothing you can move in (layers can be nice)
  • Optional eye mask & ear plugs
  • Water bottle (no food or drinks in the space)
  • It is very important that you avoid plant medicines, and other kinds of altering substances including alcohol for at least 48 hours before the session.

How Often to Practice:

This is a cumulative practice, and each session is a unique experience.

You could attend as frequently as once a week, or any rhythm that feels supportive to you.

The more sessions you attend the more you begin to experience higher states of consciousness, self-awareness, acceptance, and deeper connections to all that is, including your authentic self.

Frequently asked questions

What Do I Need to Participate?

Other than a yoga mat, there’s nothing you need to do except relax, receive, and allow the energy to move however it wants to. No previous experience is necessary. If you are traveling from out of town please let me know as I do have some yoga mats available for use.

Is this Kundalini Yoga?

No, this practice is not “kundalini yoga.” While sometimes you may feel inspired to move into a yoga pose during the session, you will never be lead or guided by the facilitator to move in any way other than a deep breath or a stretch at the beginning and end of the session.

Are you forcing my Kundalini to activate?

No,this practice is not forced, it is not a “shakti pat.” Nothing is “given.” This is YOUR energy. As a facilitator, Heathir will not be "giving" any energy, but rather holding the energy field around you so that your own energy within can resonate and respond in it's own intelligent way.

Are there contraindications to this practice?

While this practice is safe and your own natural spiritual process, because of the physical movement with the spine and visualizations that may occur, it is not recommend for those who experiences mania, paranoia, delusion, or psychosis, multiple sclerosis, or epilepsy.

Do You Offer Private Sessions

Yes, however the first session or two of a kundalini activation practice tends to be more subtle. This is a cumulative process and you may want to wait until you have experienced 2-3 group sessions before practicing 1-1. If you prefer a private setting you can also join me for a virtual group class.
