Road Dog Booking Presents:On August 19, Gallery 5 hosts Elnuh - an alternative/indie rock trio from San Antonio known for their layered guitars, subdued vocals, and slow-burning arrangements. They’re joined by Richmond locals Kristeva, Lichtenvol and Homey
Antonio, TX. Formed in 2021, the trio consists of vocalist/guitarist Elena Lopez, bassist Luke Mitchell, and drummer Daniel Puente. The three musicians together create a powerful and dynamic musical experience with the use of playful harmonies, lush vocals, introspective lyrics, and a raw yet emotionally charged “wall-of-sound” . With influences such as Sonic Youth, Autolux, Blonde Redhead, Broadcast, Slowdive, and more, Elnuh’s sound has been described as “a mixture of sweet, satiny vocals and hazy, ethereal guitar progressions on customized tunings."
