Learn everything you need to know about knitting. Karelle is hosting a small group for the chance to have one on one time during the class. By the end of the series you'll feel confident enough to start your own project. Through the course of the class small projects will be completed.

First class : learn to cast on and knit a stocking stitch strap that can be used as a head band or belt.

Second Class: make a envelop where you learn to increase and decrease stitches.

Third Class: Use pearl and stitch to make a hat

Fourth Class: Learn the symbols so you can start your own pattern.

KREL is a tropical knitwear company based in Miami designed by artist Karelle Levy. The atelier hosts a variety of crafty workshops and designer trunkshows inside the beautiful Miami Ironside Design Complex on 76th St and NE 4th Court.

KREL was founded in 2002 and has continuously recieved praise in the local and national fashion and art community. The line has been seen on Nicki Minaj, Alanis Morissette, Wisin Dancers at the Latin Grammy's among others. She recieved Best Fashion Designer by Miami New Times in 2005 & 2010 and press coverage in New York Times, Elle Magazine, Miami Herald, Art in America and more. Free parking available on 78th Street and NE 4th Court, you'll see the entrance to the complex, walk all the way through to the south side by the Bocce Court past the Restaurant.
