Overview

Get ready to dive into the world of Klezmer music with Rebecca Mac at this lively workshop and jam session!

Hosted by violinist Rebecca Mac!

4:00 PM: WORKSHOP

We’ll learn a tune together, slowly by ear. If you don’t know a lot of tunes, or you’re looking to add to your repertoire, this is a great opportunity for the Klez-pros and amateurs alike to learn something new!

5:00 PM: INTERMISSION

Light refreshments & an open top shelf bar follow the workshop!

5:30 PM: JAM

Bring a tune to lead, play along, do a dance, or just come to listen! All are welcome!

NOTE: Though this is a free event, donations welcome to fund latkes, L' Chaims with slivovitz & other drinks, & to thank the Musicians!

ACCESSIBILTY

The Boston Synagogue is handicapped accessible and an easy walk from the Red Line, Orange Line, Green Line, and BlueBike stations.

If you need to drive, there are handicapped parking spots at the front door and no stairs from parking to seating or restrooms. It also has non-fixed seating, which means we can accommodate wheelchairs in any row and allow folks in wheelchairs to sit with their friends, families, or PCAs.
