Indigenous Family Violence Prevention.

The Kipihciwin Macayowenihk – Stop the Vicious Circle - Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Conference is a meeting to discuss ending violence against Indigenous people through culture. Attendees will include people with lived experience, front-line workers, advocates, leaders, social service professionals, and community members, all focused on reducing and ending Indigenous family violence in Canada.

At Kipihciwin Macayowenihk, attendees will learn from the work of each other, learn from livedexperts, be inspired by community and practices that have been successful in their mission, find community and motivation together – but most importantly, attendees will return to their home communities with new strategies that will work to reduce violence in their community.
