About this event

We're heading to Northern Michigan this fall for two days of match play in the best fall weather you can imagine.

Immediately following the Ryder Cup, we'll play 36 holes at both Kingsley Club and Belvedere Golf Club. But we're making it match play. All participants will participate in matches for the chance to win a prize with their team. After lunch on the second day, a playoff will be contested with representatives from the top two teams playing and the remaining 80+ people watching along. Get your popcorn out.

This is an event you won't want to miss.

    Course Information

    Kingsley Club

In prime fall conditions, you can argue that Kingsely Club is one of the best places to play golf in the country. The course moves through an open meadow before diving into the wilderness, showing off both aspects of what makes Northern Michigan so special. It's architecture is incredibly bold and fun, rewarding the best shots providing a sense of accomplishment.

"Compared to many modern designs, Kingsley is unusually ferocious. It tosses ill-advised or ill-executed shots to yonder with an unabashed attitude. A few greens—especially Nos. 2, 8, 9, and 15—are punishing and extraordinarily difficult to hit. Some golfers may find these too extreme or unfair. But aside from the 15th, all of these greens are on holes that allow for short approaches. Kingsley is not randomly cruel. It just doesn’t hand you a low score unless you play with precision and intelligence." - Andy Johnson

    Belvedere Golf Club

Divided by the property's central ridgeline, Belvedere Golf Club is an example of how a creative routing can make one central feature shine. Architect Willie Watson uses the higher ground in the middle of the property in varied ways throughout the round. Some of the shots that involve the ridge, including the first of the day, are dramatic and memorable while others are more cerebral in nature. The fun is then kicked into high gear once the player reaches the green at Belvedere. Each putting surface is masterful, some more severe than others, but all filled with intrigue.
