Kings of Eros: Men's Sexual Sovereignty Support Group

Many men often stay isolated and “go it alone” when it comes to exploring the mysteries and power of our sexuality. Many of us also tend to quietly hold painful stigma, fear, and shame on our own. In this group, we will explore this question:

What happens when fellow men come together as mutual supporters and allies in our sexual development and liberation?

Our sexuality transcends notions of right and wrong. We each have our own journey – our own experiences and wisdom to share. Group discussion and guided practices will be facilitated in a way that supports each member’s individual journey, while also allowing our gifts to be realized and shared with the group. Come take part in a sharing of experiences, wisdom, and camaraderie among men, around the juicy topic of sexuality!

Discussion topics may include:

• What our sexuality means to each of us
• What challenges we are facing in the world dating, sex, love, and intimacy
• Cultivating and retaining our sexual energy
• Getting in touch with our authentic desires and expressing them in a healthy way
• What it would look like to live as kings, fully sovereign in our own sexuality, and fully empowered to connect with others in the ways we most desire

This group is open to all men, of all sexual orientations.

What to Expect

The event is centered around a guided practice of exploring our own erotic imagination, and making contact with our deepest wisdom about what sexual sovereignty means for each of us. This is an individual practice inside ourselves, so each person will be going on their own individual exploration during this practice. I will be guiding everyone through this practice. No prior experience is necessary.

Before we go into the practice, we'll begin with some introductions, so that we can get to know each other and help each other feel welcome in the group.

After the practice, we'll have space to share verbally with the group about what we experienced during the practice. We'll also discuss any insights that we discovered, and how this relates to the current state of our sex lives. Sharing is completely optional, as is everything else during this event.

I hope that this event will support men in knowing themselves better, and in showing up more authentically and courageously in the realm of sexuality!

Doors open at 6:30pm.

We will begin promptly at 6:45pm, and the doors will locked at that time.

No entry is permitted after the doors are locked. Of course, anyone may leave at any time.
