King's Brazil Institute warmly invite you to join us to hear from and exchange with Dr Laura Trajber Waisbich on her new book Southern Powers and Global Development: Responsible but Different (Bristol University Press, 2025).

The book is a result of of over 15 years of multi-scalar and multi-sited research on Southern powers (in particular Brazil, China and India) in global development and the disputes over their roles and responsibilities in an increasingly fragmented world.

The talk will take place at Bush House (SE) 2.03.
