The Dietitians at Community Servings are delighted to invite kids and their guardians to our second annual FREE Kids Kitchen cooking series! Each cooking class in this 4 part series is led by Dietitian Nutritionists who will lead you and your child from start to finish through the cooking of a healthy recipe and review cooking techniques and nutrition education along the way. At the end of each class you can expect to take home a recipe card and a sample of the recipe cooked and/or fresh ingredients as available.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to sign up for all four classes?

No. If you would like to attend ALL classes, please register for each individual session to save your spot. We understand schedules and summer plans take place and can potentially conflict with the days of the summer series.

Can you accommodate all food allergies?

Please note we cannot accommodate all food allergens. This facility is shellfish, tree nut, peanut, and pork-free. If your child has a severe wheat, soy, egg, or dairy allergy, or gluten intolerance, it is advised to skip this class.

Do parents have to be present during the class?

Yes. One parent (or guardian/adult that the child knows) will be required to attend the class with the child. All other adults or children not registered for the class are welcome to wait in our Community Room during class time.

There are no more spots available. Will there be more events?

A waitlist will be available to join once the spots fill up. We will reach out to folks on the waitlist a few days before the class if spots become available. Check back soon and often for new classes in the fall!

I'm no longer able to attend the class. What should I do?

Once you sign up for the class, we expect that your child and an adult will be present for the class. Please let us know at least three days in advance if you and your child are no longer able to attend. Those on the waitlist will be contacted if spots become available.
