About this event

The Kids Graffiti Drawing Class at the Art of Hip Hop (hosted by Museum of Graffiti) in Wynwood offers a unique and creative experience for children. Led by local street artists, the class introduces kids to the vibrant world of graffiti art. Learn the basics of graffiti, including lettering, character design, shadowing, and the use of color.

The class takes place in a welcoming environment that encourages self-expression and creativity. Children learn about the history and culture of graffiti, as well as the techniques used by street artists to create their work. They get hands-on experience with markers, creating their own pieces to take home.

The Museum of Graffiti itself, located in the heart of Wynwood, is a dynamic space dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of this art form. The class is a perfect way for kids to explore their artistic talents while engaging with a significant part of Miami's cultural landscape.

This project is made possible with the support of PATH: Preserving, Archiving & Teaching Hiphop, Inc., the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
