Kickoff to Recovery

Substance use disorders have increased in West Virginia and have affected our families unimaginably. The statistics are alarming; seeing so many lives lost each year to this disease is devastating. WVSL Solutions has been instrumental in offering structure and support for those seeking recovery from substance use disorder in our region, and it is great to see the success stories that come out of our programs.

Proceeds raised during this fundraiser help WVSL Solutions with expenses (E.G, individual psychotherapy, utilities, groceries, house events, Narcan, supplies, etc.) as we expand our services to reach this vulnerable population. Participants in our recovery homes must maintain employment during their stay, but sometimes, they need extra help when first entering the home. Donations received allow our programs to have a wider impact and assist those most vulnerable to poor outcomes from substance use disorder. The fellowship and support participants experience with one another is vital to their recovery, and these activities further establish the environment necessary for them to build supportive relationships with others in recovery and the community.
