Please note, our event isn't just a kick off, it's a critical, mission-building feedback event so that we can continue to grow our movement. We need you, and all our neighors, to attend. We're here to save our parks and beaches, and that starts with each of us. It's not just about money, it's about the on-the-ground effort and the concrete things we can each do. For far too long, this city has been run by out-of-touch leaders who don’t represent us or our interests. But it doesn't have to be that way! Rise Together is building the largest movement of everyday Angelenos across the city. We're working to unite the people of this city to believe in change, and make sure that we bring that change now and in 2022.

Protecting Parks and Beaches is thrilled to collaborate with Rise Together LA to launch a city-wide effort to rebuff the City’s clawing attempts to appropriate parks and beaches for homeless shelters, taking away safe access to these recreational spaces from our families, children, and elderly.

Join us for this party and working session to meet each other and to learn more from Rise Together LA’s co-founder, Craig Greiwe. Craig is the Marketing Coach and Public Awareness Strategy Advisor to the Protecting Parks and Beaches Coalition that spans all of CD-11. He'll walk through what's really going on in LA, how we got here, Rise Together's plan to fix it, and how that applies to saving our Parks & Beaches - now and forever.
