Overview

If you enjoy working on a team and taking the lead, then we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you in Central Florida on January 19, 2026!

U.S. Hunger proudly presents the annual MLK Day of Service Million Meal Pack!

U.S. Hunger’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day Million Meal Pack is a testament to the power of communities coming together in the spirit of service and volunteerism to make a difference through community service. In collaboration with The Orlando Mayor’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission and the Orange County MLK Initiative, we will pack and distribute 1 million healthy meals of food relief throughout Central Florida!

When you join our team as a Table Captain, you will maintain efficiency on the meal-packaging floor. Throughout the event, you will work alongside our staff to train volunteers, reset assembly lines, and help with general clean up as volunteers package 1 Million Meals in honor of MLK Day of Service!

When you join our team as a Heavy Lifter, you will maintain efficiency on the meal-packaging floor. Throughout the event, you will work alongside our staff to move boxes, wrap pallets, and fill bins with food products as volunteers package 1 Million Meals! At the end of the event, your muscles may be sore, but your heart will be full!
