The Key into Public Service Call to Serve event is designed for recent arts and sciences graduates, interns, and young professionals looking to pursue public impact careers.

I have other events that night, should I still sign up for the event?

Given strong interest in the event and limited room capacity, the Society would appreciate if attendees only register if they can commit to attending the event. If your plans change, please email advocacy@pbk.org so we can contact someone on the wait list.

I don't live in the D.C. area. Can I still attend?

This event is a reception for those who will be in Washington, D.C. this summer. For those who are not in the local DMV area, PBK will record the event and make that recording available on our YouTube channel later this summer. Stay tuned for info about Key Connection events around the country.

What should I wear to the event?

This event will provide attendees with networking opportunities, so the Society recommends attendees wear business casual or business professional attire.

Will there be opportunities to ask questions?

After the formal program, attendees will have the opportunity to ask panelists questions about public service careers (time permitting).

How do I get to the Montpelier room?

How do I get to the Madison Building?

The LOC Madison Building is located on Independence Avenue next to Cannon House Office Building. The nearest metro station is Capitol South (Orange, Silver, Blue lines). Guests will need to enter from the Independence Ave public entrance and go through a standard security screening.
