IMPORTANT - THIS EVENT IS WEATHER PERMITTING

Many factors can impact if the 99s can fly. High winds, low cloud visibility, and inclement weather for both days must be evaluated. The Air Boss leading the 99s will make a final call on whether they fly or not. If bad weather is imminent, the call can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Or it might be called off in the morning if the weather changes. This is the nature of flying and we will do our best to make a call that does not inconvenience everyone. Kern Valley Airport can reimburse camping fees in the event of bad weather.
